Bridging Educators: Unleashing Creativity Across Diverse Classrooms
Discovering New Artists is collaboration with Western Union Foundation and Watson Institute, Colorado, USA brings a one-day training workshop for art educators. The first workshop will be happening in Lahore, Pakistan. It is important to equip educators with the tools and strategies needed to nurture creativity in children through art. This not only enhances students' artistic abilities but also encourages confidence and individuality, empowering them to think more independently and creatively in all areas of life.
Led by three distinguished artists and art educationists (Muhammad Atif Khan, Asad Hayee, and Sidra Ali), this workshop will guide teachers in cultivating an open and inclusive environment that encourages students to explore their artistic potential, express themselves freely, and engage deeply with the creative process. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with practical skills to transform their classrooms into creative hubs where every child can unleash their full potential through art.
This workshop is designed for teachers from both private schools and community organisations, bridging diverse communities to create an inclusive space for all educators. Aligned with DNA's mission, the workshop ensures that educators from under-resourced institutions gain valuable knowledge and tools needed to provide quality art education. This model promotes equal access to creative learning, enabling all students to unlock their artistic potential.
